It is appropriate for calculating the flow rates in 50 NB & above pipeline. It is obtainable in a variety of materials, carrier rings, impulse piping and rotameter as flow indicator. This is fundamentally an online Rotameter whichever glass tube or Acrylic body placed in a By Pass piping. The only disparity is the range orifice of the Rotameter at the inlet. This series orifice is engineered in such a way that the degree of difference pressure through the By Pass piping is equal to the discrepancy pressure across the mainline orifice. With this agreement, rotameter in the By Pass piping works as a Manometer.
