Our offered range includes Electromagnetic Flowmeter, Magnetic Flowmeter, Digitak Gas Flowmeter etc. These digital flow-meters are used in various industries to calculate or measure volume flow rate of compressible fluids. In simple words, these digital flow meters calculate amount of volume of particular fluid that passes through a given area (pipeline of different radius) in a given period of time. Flow rate measurement of fluid is very important aspect in industrial processes or operations in order to utilize right amount of fluid in correct time, otherwise inaccurate consumption can cause disastrous results.
The offered digital flow meters work on Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction as per which, magnetic field is used to determine the flow rate of the fluid. These flow meters consist of a glass tube and electrodes fixed around the tube wall . When a conductive fluid (water, acid, oil, slurry, gases etc.) passes through the magnetic field, voltage signals are generated, which is sensed by the electrodes. After sensing the magnetic field, electrodes then send signals to the meter reading to show volume flow rate measurement. As the voltage generated is directly proportional to the movement of fluid, more voltage is received by the electrode when fluid moves faster and less voltage is generated when fluid moves at slower rate.
1) These electromagnetic digital flow meters can be installed in relatively short meter run as they do not require much upstream or downstream straight run.
2) They generally require 3-5 diameters of upstream straight run and 0-3 diameters of downstream straight run for installation.
3) These flow meters are ideal to measure the flow rate of clean, sanitary, dirty, corrosive and abrasive liquids as they do not obstruct the flow.
4) It is very important to ensure the electrical conductivity of the fluid to measure the flow rate accurately.
